The Alliance of Civil Society Organizations of Tigray (ACSOT) is a non-governmental, non-profit, non-partisan consortium and multi-sectoral CSOs that brings together over 124 national and regional CSOs across all over Tigray.
ACSOT Established in 2007 G.C. and re-registered under the CSOs Proclamation No. 1113/2019 2019 as an Ethiopian Regional consortium with registration No. 1508.
ACSOT strengthens civil society through capacity building, advocacy, networking, and resource mobilization.
By uniting CSOs under one umbrella, ACSOT ensures collective voices, reduces duplication of efforts, and fosters impactful collaboration with government, local, and international partners

In a region rebuilding from conflict, ACSOT supports civil society organizations to strengthen governance, accountability, and leadership systems. Focus areas include internal policy development, M&E systems, gender-responsive programming, and digital transformation.
ACSOT empowers members to influence policies on justice, civic space, and recovery—ensuring that governance processes remain inclusive, people-centered, and accountable.
ACSOT promotes unity among CSOs through thematic clusters, digital collaboration, and partnerships with local and international actors to amplify collective advocacy.
To ensure long-term impact, ACSOT helps members diversify funding, build financial literacy, and explore income-generating initiatives aligned with their missions.
Rooted in post-conflict realities of Tigray, ACSOT’s 2025–2027 plan aims to empower civil society, protect civic space, and drive sustainable recovery.

ACSOT works to strengthen the institutional capacity, accountability, and collaboration of member CSOs across Tigray. Through training, advocacy, and rights-based approaches, member organizations are becoming more inclusive, resilient, and influential in shaping regional policy, peacebuilding, and development outcomes.
ACSOT played a key role in strengthening collaboration among Ethiopian Civil Society Organizations through this meeting. The initiative fostered dialogue, shared best practices, and built partnerships that enhanced community resilience, social inclusion, and sustainable development across regions.
ACSOT organized an Open Cultural Art Show to celebrate diversity and promote unity among communities. Through music, painting, dance, and storytelling, the event created a platform for dialogue, understanding, and collaboration—helping to strengthen inter-group relations and foster lasting peace.
ACSOT facilitated a GO-NGO Collaboration Forum to enhance coordination between government offices (GOs) and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). The meeting focused on building mutual trust, improving service delivery, and aligning development efforts to better address community needs and promote sustainable local development.
